The Zero Miles Meat Company began with two people — Harry Hatfield and Maciej Rudz — asking a simple question: could meat be produced, processed and sold locally, without animals travelling miles or farmers losing value?
What started as Berkshire Broilers has grown into a working example of the future of small-scale farming — a pasture-based poultry model that brings processing back to the farm, reduces stress on animals, and creates real value within the local food chain.
